Eleven:

Many un-replied texts, ignored phone calls, and days of avoidance later, I found myself on the way to a party, dressed to impress, with Patrick Sharp, …which consequently happened to be at Jon’s apartment.

Not too long after, I confidently stepped through the door with Sharpie on my arm. We immediately made a beeline to the kitchen to grab some drinks and we soon found ourselves on the living room floor. His arms fastened around my waist, and my hands laced around his neck, grinding to the music that was blaring. Showing up to a party with Sharp wasn’t my idea to make Jon envious… or at least that’s what I kept telling myself, although throughout the night I kept shooting glances around the room to see if Jon was in view.

Once our cups were empty, we made our way through the packs of sweaty bodies and into the kitchen for a refill. My brother had just showed up. After his quick greeting, he immediately filled his cup and headed to the ‘dance floor’ to claim his piece of ass for the night.

Throughout the night, the drinks kept flowing and our chemistry… or the urge for sex increased. So, Patrick and I found our way into the vacant bathroom, his pants around his ankles and my skirt up around my waist. Yeah, so maybe having sex in the bathroom at a party isn’t the best idea, considering the amount of drunken people with full bladders who constantly bang on the door, demanding entrance.

After our quickie was over, I pulled down my skirt and covered my growing hickeys with my hair, as he pulled up his pants, and we quickly exited the bathroom and made our way into the kitchen once more.

Right when we stepped through the doorway, I noticed a couple, stationed in the corner about two feet away from us making out. I blew it off and began to fill my glass until I heard a voice that sounded awfully familiar. I casually glanced over in their general direction and noticed that Jon was with some puck-bunny. Anger surged through my body. So this is how he wants to play, eh? I grabbed Patrick by the hand and pulled my hair behind my ears, revealing the many vibrant hickeys along my neck and collarbone. “Mm Patty, I think I’m ready for round two,” I said seductively while leaning up and placing a kiss on his lips. I then took a quick glance into Jon’s direction to see that he was standing there with a look of sheer jealousy plastered on his face. I could tell that his little plan to make me jealous backfired on him big-time. “Jon what’s wrong?” the slut asked him while desperately attempting to kiss him.

He then pushed her off of him. “Uhm… nothing,” he replied in a completely dubious tone, “I just want some privacy.” He said while glaring at me.

The girl caught on and focused her attention to my direction, “uhm, is there something going on here?” She asked rudely.

“No,” I replied simply. “You can have him, we just kind of have a history together... that’s all. But there’s nothing to worry about sweetie, it’s all in the past.” And with that, I grabbed my full cup of alcohol off of the counter and led Patrick back into the living room once more, without even looking back.

I woke up the next morning in an unfamiliar room. The sunlight trickling in through the windows triggered my hangover that I was hoping to avoid. Rubbing my temples, I looked to the opposite side of the bed to see a very naked Sharpie, which caused me to look down at myself… naked. So we did go for round two… I then quickly re-dressed myself and headed out into the living room of a house that I was soon to find out was Jon’s. I stepped through the doorway and noticed my brother and Jon were positioned on the couch whispering to one another. They then broke out into a fit of laughter. I loudly cleared my throat, not caring if I woke up Brent Seabrook and Adam Burish who were passed out of the floor together.

“Oh hey Cole,” Jon began in a smug tone. “I was just about to tell your brother what you were doing with Sharpie last night… would you care to sit down and join us?”
